- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage requirements for general-purpose steel container water-based coatings and coating supporting systems. This standard is applicable to water-based coatings and coating supporting systems that protect and decorate the surface of general container steel structures. It includes a coating supporting system with more than two layers of coating inside and outside the box, as well as primer and topcoat for the floor inside the box.
