Scope
Form This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of forgings 4.0 inches (101.6 mm) and under in nominal crosssectional thickness and of forging stock. Application These forgings have been used typically for parts in high-stress and stress-corrosion-resistant applications requiring higher fracture toughness@ but permitting lower tensile properties than AMS4984@ but usage is not limited to such applications.
