Scope

This standard specifies the methods and related technical requirements for fretting fatigue testing of metal material samples under high temperature and high pressure water conditions in nuclear power plants. This standard is applicable to fretting fatigue tests of rectangular cross-section specimens with a certain gauge length in water media below 360°C.
