This document specifies the general testing principles for halogen-free polyolefin insulated cables with rated voltages of 450/750V and below, electrical performance testing, mechanical strength testing of finished flexible cables and sheath immersion testing. This document applies to flexible and hard cables with halogen-free polyolefin insulation and sheath (if any) with rated voltage U0/U of 450/750V and below, for power devices with AC nominal voltage not exceeding 450/750V.
