Scope

This part of GB/T18400 specifies the detection and evaluation of thermal deformation within the length range of the machine tool structure and positioning system of the machining center with reference to ISO230-3. This section applies to machining center machine tools with linear axis strokes up to 2000mm. This section specifies three detection methods, which are: 　——Environmental temperature change error (ETVE) inspection; 　——Thermal deformation inspection caused by spindle rotation; 　——Thermal deformation inspection caused by linear axis movement. It should be noted that no specific tolerance values are given for the inspections described in this section.
