- 1 Scope This International Standard prescribes a method of testing the ventilation and energy related performance of heat recovery ventilators ( HRVs )and energy recovery ventilators ( ERVs ) that do not contain any supplemental heating (except for defrost), cooling, humidification or dehumidification components.
