Scope

This part of GB/T 33779 specifies the reference test method (RTM) and alternative test methods for the effective area (Aeff) of single-mode optical fibers, and specifies the test equipment, samples and sample preparation, test procedures, calculation methods and results, etc. This section applies to the Class B single-mode fiber specified in GB/T9771 (all parts).
