This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, procedures and methods for identification and evaluation of motor vehicles soaked in water, and the expression method of identification and evaluation opinions. This standard is applicable to activities engaged in the appraisal and evaluation of motor vehicles (small and mini buses and large cars) soaked in water. Water-immersion identification and assessment activities for other types of motor vehicles or mechanical equipment can be carried out with reference to this document.
