- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, preparations before periodic inspection, inspection items and methods, safety status level assessment, inspection conclusions and reports of in-use high-pressure gas underground gas storage wells (hereinafter referred to as gas storage wells). Content. This standard is applicable to the periodic inspection and assessment of natural gas storage wells with a design pressure not greater than 27.5MPa (gauge pressure), a nominal volume not greater than 10m3, and containing natural gas that meets the requirements of GB 18047.
