Scope

This standard specifies the quality requirements for hazelnuts, technical requirements for refrigeration, storage at room temperature, inspection during storage, technical requirements for delivery, sorting, commercial packaging, labeling and transportation, and inspection. This standard applies to the commercial storage of Corylusheterophylla Fisch. and Corylusheterophylla Fisch × Coryllusavellana L. nuts. Other types of hazelnuts can be followed.
