- Scope
- This standard stipulates the inspection and testing work contents and corresponding evaluation standards for large castings in thermal power plants at two stages after manufacturing, before installation and in service. This standard is applicable to the inspection and testing of the following large carbon steel and alloy steel castings in thermal power plants: a) Valve bodies with nominal diameters of DN200 ~ DN1200; b) Nominal outer diameter not less than 273 mm, wall thickness not less than 20 mm Tee, elbow; c) Cylinder, steam chamber, main steam valve, speed regulating valve, nozzle chamber, etc. with operating temperature greater than or equal to 400°C. The inspection and testing of reducer pipes and other large castings can be carried out by reference.
