This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) specifies the technical characteristics to be met by Group 3 facsimile equipment to enable reliable document interchange between compliant equipment. The ETS does not contain the requirements for Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) access@ Safety or Electromagnetic Compatibility. All tests necessary to check conformance to this ETS are included in Annex B (normative)@ which is an integral part of this ETS.
