This document specifies the performance and safety requirements for self-contained gas mixers intended for mixing oxygen with another medical gas. This document does not apply to flow meter groups with independent control of each gas flow, independent gas mixers for mixing oxygen and ambient air, independent gas mixers with more than two different gas inlets, independent gas mixers connected to oxygen concentrators mixer.
