Scope

This standard specifies the sampling, storage, detection, isolation control, and result disposal for testing residues of clenbuterol and other beta-stimulant substances in livestock urine. This standard is applicable to self-inspection and supervisory sampling of residues of clenbuterol and other beta-stimulants in the urine of livestock during breeding, purchasing, trafficking (including trading markets), and slaughtering.
