- This document specifies the test method for testing the cracking susceptibility of pipeline steel in acidic environment (aqueous solution environment with low pH value containing H2S) using a complete pipe section sample. This document applies to the cracking susceptibility of seamless, longitudinally welded, spirally welded or girth welded pipes, etc., in sour environments.
