This European standard specifies properties in thickness direction and associated test methods for sheet, strip, universal steel and steel profiles. This European standard may be applied as a supplement to all product standards for sheet, strip, universal steel and profiles of completely quiet steel types, with the exception of corrosion-resistant steel. It covers products with a thickness between 15 mm and 250 mm made of steel with a specified minimum upper yield point ffeHor yield point /?p0.2 ^ 500 N/mm2, which requires improved properties in the thickness direction. The application of this European Standard for other thicknesses and other steel types must be agreed upon when ordering. Option 1.
