This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of crude methanol by-product of disproportionation reaction. This document applies to the by-product crude methanol recovered by distillation in the disproportionation reaction process during the production of trimethylolpropane and neopentyl glycol. It is mainly used as an additive in the production of degreasing agents, sewage treatment and carbon sources for sewage treatment.
