- This standard specifies the general requirements for lightning protection device testing, service quality requirements, testing process, planning stage, implementation stage, inspection stage, processing stage, testing report, and service quality improvement. This standard applies to testing services for lightning protection devices or facilities (devices) with lightning protection functions. The following situations are not within the scope of this standard: ——Railway systems; ——Vehicles, aircraft and offshore ships; ——High-voltage electrical systems (facilities) with operating voltages above 1000V AC and above 1500V DC.
