This document describes the principle of Nb-Ti and NbsSn composite superconductor torque measurement, chemicals, instruments and equipment, sample preparation measurement steps, test data processing, measurement uncertainty and test report. This document is applicable to the integrated structure Nb with a diameter of 0.2 mm to 2 mm (or a rectangle with an equivalent cross-sectional area), a superconducting wire with a diameter of 6 pm to 200 pm, a torque of 5 mm to 50 mm, and a copper substrate. - Measurement of torque of Ti and NbsSn multifilament composite superconductors. This document does not apply to superconductors with coatings or coatings that cannot be etched back by nitric acid. Note 1: Use this method to measure the cross-sectional shape area. For composite superconductors whose diameter and torque of the superconducting wire exceed this range, the uncertainty will increase. Note 2: With appropriate corrections, the measurement methods given in this document are applicable to other composite superconductors of similar structure.
