- The "Building Standards for Collapsible Loess Areas" is now approved as a national standard, numbered GB50025-2018, and will come into force on August 1, 2019. Among them, Articles 4.1.1, 4.1.8, 5.7.3, 6.1.1, 7.1.1, and 7.4.5 are mandatory provisions and must be strictly implemented. The original "Code for Buildings in Collapsible Loess Areas" (GB50025-2004) will be abolished at the same time. This standard is published on the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (www.mohurd.gov.cn), and is published and distributed by the China Construction Industry Press organized by the Institute of Standards and Quotas of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
