This document specifies the representation and partitioning methods of the transverse profile of hot-rolled steel strips, and also specifies the representation and determination methods of profile feature defects. This document is applicable to the characteristic identification and definition of the transverse plate profile of hot-rolled steel strips. This document does not stipulate specific plate profile fitting methods, and the technology to solve related plate profile quality problems is also outside the scope of this document.
