This standard specifies the classification, ordering content, size, shape and weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of steel and alloy silver-brightened rods for internal combustion engine valves (hereinafter referred to as silver-brightened rods) . This standard is applicable to the manufacture of steel and alloy silver-bright rods with a diameter of 4.0mm to 35mm for internal combustion engine valves.
