Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and marks, ordering content, dimensions, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, signs, and quality certificates of steel bars for prestressed concrete. This standard is applicable to smooth round, spiral groove, spiral rib and ribbed steel rods for prestressed concrete.
