- Scope
- This standard uses the dyes fluorescein diacetate (FDA) and fluorescein 5-chloroformate (CMFDA) to co-stain living organisms larger than or equal to 10 μm and smaller than 50 μm in ballast water, and observe the life and death of the organisms under a fluorescence microscope. Calculate the number of living organisms larger than or equal to 10μm and smaller than 50μm in the sample, including main technical contents such as sample collection, sample detection, data recording and calculation, quality assurance and control.
