- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic requirements and contents for safety management of the design, manufacture, installation, modification, repair, use and inspection of autoclaves. This standard is applicable to applications where the working pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (gauge pressure), the volume is greater than or equal to 30L, and the inner diameter (non-circular cross-section refers to the maximum geometric size of the inner boundary of the cross-section) is greater than or equal to 150mm, with external steam or compressed air as the pressure. Source, autoclave used in construction, rubber and other industries by hot-pressing and steaming the materials in the kettle.
