PURPOSE: to detect and evaluate certain defects in light alloy castings. APPLICATION: (a) This specification shall be used when called for on the drawing or when required by written instruction. (b) Fluoroscopic inspection may be performed on any or all light alloy castings before submission for x-ray inspection.
