This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) specifies the technical requirements for the radiated emission measurement procedure for physically large systems used in telecommunication. It applies to application specific systems@ which are equipment or systems requiring installation documentation specific for the site at which the system is to be installed. That is@ the system is unique to that particular site. In order to demonstrate compliance of such unique systems@ a minimum representative sub-set of the system is defined which is used for compliance testing. Installations built from sub-units of the representative system are deemed to satisfy the requirements for certification. The test method@ where applicable@ and limits to be used@ are those as specified in EN 55022 [1]. Minimum representative systems shall be tested on a free field site or in a suitable anechoic chamber which has a site attenuation according to the requirements of CISPR Publication 16 [2]. A minimum representative system is one which includes at least one of each type of sub-system@ connected together to form an installed system. Thus the sub-systems so connected together are the minimum configurable representative system. These form the requirement for a minimum representative system@ subsequently referred to in this document as the Equipment Under Test (EUT)@ to be used for compliance testing.
