- This document stipulates the principles of ultrasonic partial discharge detection, detection instrument requirements, detection cycles, detection methods and the basis for judging equipment defects, and standardizes the technical work of ultrasonic partial discharge detection and diagnosis. This document applies to gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as GIS equipment) of 110kV (66kV) and above. HGIS/tank circuit breakers can be implemented as a reference.
