This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of white granulated sugar, as well as the requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard is applicable to white granulated sugar produced from sugar cane, sugar beet or raw sugar. This standard does not apply to refined white granulated sugar or cube sugar.
