- This document defines the terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations of the online automatic measurement system (AMS), gives a brief introduction to the AMS, describes the selection method of the AMS, and establishes the performance characteristics and judgment criteria, quality assurance and quality control of the AMS Procedures and what should be included in the measurement report. This document applies to extractive and in-situ (non-extractive) AMS for the determination of carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and oxygen (O2) content in gases.
