Scope

This standard specifies the composition, model naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of capacitive power transformer neutral point DC isolation devices (hereinafter referred to as DC isolation devices). This standard applies to capacitive DC blocking devices for power transformers with directly grounded neutral points at voltage levels of 110kV and above.
