- This standard specifies the ordering content, classification and code, section, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of square and rectangular tubes for bridge structures. This standard is applicable to square and rectangular tubes formed by continuous cold bending and welding for bridge structures (hereinafter referred to as square and rectangular tubes). It is not applicable to square and rectangular tubes produced by drawing, stamping, bending, etc. The square and rectangular pipes specified in this standard mainly use high-frequency resistance welding, and other welding methods can also be used.
