This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, material and structural requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, installation, packaging, transportation and storage of preheated household gas instant water heaters (hereinafter referred to as water heaters). This document applies to household hot water gas instantaneous water heaters with a heat load not exceeding 70kW and using a built-in circulating water pump. This document does not apply to gas volumetric water heaters.
