PURPOSE The purpose of this Bulletin is to provide a listing of available government and industry references for CM and DM. This listing is a guide in selecting appropriate reading material and text for college curricula@ as well as material for anyone interested in researching these subjects. INTRODUCTION Configuration Management (CM) and Data Acquisition Management (DM)@ as still somewhat young disciplines@ have only recently begun to receive support by extensive literature reference. Although recently text material became available@ the majority of references are Department of Defense (DOD) directives and specifications. The remainder are either short treatments under other disciplines (such as Quality Assurance) or papers and articles on these subjects. This Bulletin contains a compilation of literature references for the disciplines of CM and DM.
