This part of GB/T3286 specifies the method for the determination of titanium dioxide content using the diantipyridine methane spectrophotometric method. This section is applicable to the determination of titanium dioxide content (measured as TiO2 amount) in limestone and dolomite, and also to the determination of titanium dioxide content in metallurgical lime. Measuring range (mass fraction): titanium dioxide content 0.0050% ~ 0.30%.
