- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of trailer air suspension assemblies (hereinafter referred to as suspension assemblies). This standard applies to trailer air suspension assemblies (excluding suspension control systems) consisting of front brackets, guide arms, shock absorbers, air springs and other components. Assemblies with other structures are also used with reference.
