Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, installation, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitment of household gas instantaneous water heaters (hereinafter referred to as water heaters). This standard applies to forced exhaust, forced supply and exhaust, and outdoor water heaters with a rated heat load of no more than 70 kW and an automatic constant temperature function. The gas referred to in this standard is the gas specified in GB/T 13611-2006. When using gases other than those specified in GB/T 13611-2006, the test gas shall be based on the gas provided by the product design.
