Scope

What is BS EN 16074  - Paints and varnishes about?    BS EN 16074 is a European standard on paints and varnishes which helps in determining non-volatile-matter content and spreading rate of coil coating materials.   BS EN 16074 specifies the gravimetric procedure for determining the non-volatile-matter content as a percentage by mass of the majority of thermally cured coil coatings and subsequently for determining the theoretical spreading rate.    Note : The method is not suitable for pure epoxy coil coatings.  Who is BS EN 16074 - Paints and varnishes for?
