- This part of GB/T22394 gives the process of implementing data-driven monitoring and diagnostic methods to help professionals, especially those in monitoring centers, perform analysis work. Although some steps are already embedded in existing tools, for better use, it is still necessary to pay attention to the following steps: ——Selection of assets, critical faults, and available process parameters; ——Data cleaning and resampling; ———Model development; ——Model initialization and adjustment; ——Model performance evaluation; ——Diagnosis process. Implementing these steps does not require comprehensive knowledge of statistical methods, but does require the ability to first build a training model and apply the model to the monitoring and diagnostic process. Implement training of data-driven monitoring models on machines in normal working condition. The principle of fault monitoring is to compare observed data with estimated data. The difference between the observed and expected values of a parameter, called the residual, indicates the presence of an anomaly, which may be related to the device or instrumentation. Implement the training of data-driven diagnostic models on machines in both normal and faulty conditions. The principle of the diagnostic method is not to detect parameter deviations, but to identify faults by comparing the observed conditions with the faults learned during the training phase. Commonly used techniques are pattern recognition and pattern classification. The data can be taken from historical data of a distributed control system (DCS), or from a specific monitoring system.
