- Form This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of sheet@ strip@ and foil 0.1874 inch (4.76 mm) and under in nominal thickness (see 8.6). Application These products have been used typically for parts requiring resistance to creep and stress-rupture up to 1400 ??(760 ?? and oxidation resistance up to 1800 ??(982 ??@ particularly those parts which are formed or welded and then precipitation heat treated to develop desired properties@ but usage is not limited to such applications.
