Scope
This standard specifies the radiation control level, radiation protection requirements, radiation protection detection methods, etc. in the workplace related to clinical nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment activities. This standard applies to imaging diagnosis using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), positron emission tomography (PET), γ cameras, etc., as well as nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment activities such as radionuclide therapy. This standard does not apply to bone density measurement, low-energy gamma ray particle source implantation therapy, radionuclide application therapy and other diagnostic and therapeutic activities, as well as work processes such as the production of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals.
