Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of energy consumption per unit product (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limits for the main processes of crude steel production, energy consumption limits, statistical scope and calculation methods, and major energy-saving management measures. This standard is applicable to the statistical calculation and evaluation of energy consumption per unit product in the sintering process, pelletizing process, blast furnace process and converter process of steel enterprises, as well as the energy consumption control of new projects.
