1. Scope 1.1 This method describes a procedure used for sampling waxes and polishes
in paste or liquid form. 1.2 The importance of careful sampling of materials for analysis cannot be
overemphasized and the procedure described should be followed as
minimum requirements. Careful sampling should be co-ordinated with
careful handling and preparation of the materials in the laboratory. 1.3 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may
require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
