Scope

This document specifies a method for the simultaneous detection of Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio fluvialis, Vibriomimicus, Vibriovulnificus and Shiga-like bacteria. Multiplex PCR-capillary electrophoresis method of Plesiomonashigelloides. This document is suitable for the rapid qualitative detection of Vibrio cholerae, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio fluvialis, Vibrio mimicus, Vibrio vulnificus and Pleuromonas shigellae in fecal specimens, aquatic products and environmental water bodies.
