- This document describes methods for the quality assessment of the concentration, purity and integrity of nucleic acid samples. This document is applicable to the quality assessment of nucleic acid samples from sources such as humans, animals, plants and microorganisms. This document is not applicable to the quality evaluation of small molecule nucleic acid samples.
