- This document establishes the basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and technical files, and quality commitments for traction-driven high-speed passenger elevators. This document applies to traction-driven high-speed passenger elevators with rated speeds not less than 3.0 m/s and not greater than 6.0 m/s (hereinafter referred to as high-speed elevators).
