Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) determination method for the content of limited preservatives sorbic acid and benzoic acid in toothpaste. This standard is applicable to the determination of the limited preservatives sorbic acid and benzoic acid and their salts in toothpaste. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.5mg/kg.
