This standard provides a classification of record types and is intended to be applied to the exchange of data during automatic processing of data on spatial objects related to the Earth's surface. Notes 1. The scope of the standard is limited by various aspects. These aspects are: a. the automation facilities on which the standard is based; b. the conceptual model of reality according to which data can be exchanged. 2. The standard also provides the option of transferring the location, size and direction of texts and symbols to be placed in a map and of the symbol type.
