Scope

This document specifies the requirements for phased array ultrasonic testing personnel, testing equipment, testing technology, testing data analysis, defect assessment and testing reports for gas polyethylene pipeline electrofusion joints. This document is applicable to phased array ultrasonic testing of electrofusion joints of gas polyethylene pipelines with nominal diameter ≥40 mm and joint thickness <80 mm.
