1.0.1 In order to standardize the preparation of pre-feasibility study reports for pumped storage power stations, clarify the content and depth of the report, and ensure that it is technologically advanced and economically reasonable, these guidelines are specially formulated. 1.0.2 These guidelines are applicable to the preparation of pre-feasibility study reports for newly built, renovated and expanded pumped storage power station projects. 1.0.3 The preparation of the pre-feasibility study report for pumped storage power station projects should be based on the site selection planning of regional pumped storage power stations.
